Under EU rules, consumers have a minimum 2-year legal guarantee from the date of delivery, which means you are entitled to have defective goods repaired, replaced, or refunded if they do not conform to what was promised. This warranty is a legal right, not a separate optional policy, and it applies to products sold online to consumers across the European Union. Within the first 12 months of delivery, if a defect becomes apparent, you generally do not need to prove that the problem was there at the time of delivery. After 12 months, national rules may require you to show that the defect was present when the product was received.
