Chives Seeds – Fast-Growing Perennial Herb for Smart Indoor & Hydroponic Gardens – 0.35g

Description

About Chives

Chives are a hardy perennial herb with a mild onion flavor, commonly used to season salads, soups, omelets, and dips. The hollow green stems grow in clumps and can be harvested multiple times throughout the season. Chives also produce attractive purple flowers, making them both edible and ornamental. They are easy to grow and a great addition to any home herb garden—indoors or out. Once established, chives come back year after year.

Why It’s Perfect for Hydroponic Smart Gardens

Chives thrive in hydroponic and smart garden systems, where consistent moisture and light promote fast, healthy growth. While traditionally sown outdoors from May to June, chives can be started indoors in pots or smart garden pods and grown year-round on a sunny windowsill or under LED lights. Although the first full harvest typically begins in the second year, you can enjoy light harvesting of tender leaves even earlier in controlled indoor conditions.
