Hydroponics & Indoor Gardening

This soil is intended for traditional potted cultivation of citrus and Mediterranean plants. While not a hydroponic medium, seedlings or young plants started in this soil can later be transitioned into smart indoor garden systems for controlled year-round growth and improved plant health. Hydroponics can help plants grow up to three times faster by delivering nutrients and water directly to the roots.

Usage & Harvesting

Before use, loosen the soil to improve aeration. Remove the plant from its pot, shake off old soil, and trim any damaged or rotting roots. Choose a slightly larger pot for repotting and avoid compressing the roots. For best results, place a drainage layer (such as clay pebbles) at the bottom of the pot before filling with Compo Citrus Potting Soil. Water regularly and begin fertilising again after 8 weeks.
