Description
The CitySens transparent planter with pine support and green base is a decorative indoor hydroponic plant pot designed to let you observe the complete growth cycle of your plant, from leaves to roots. The soilless culture system keeps growing clean while offering a clear view of root development. The plant is not included.
Each planter is made from a reused glass bottle paired with a 3D-printed wooden biofilament stand, combining sustainable materials with modern European design.
Made with 3D printing
The support is produced on demand in the CitySens workshop in Tarragona using TuMaker NX Pro Direct Drive HR 3D printing technology. It is built from 108 layers of 300 microns using PLA biopolymer blended with 40% wood.
This material blend creates a natural texture and a light woody scent. The filament is manufactured in Jaén from PEFC-certified wood.
Reusing glass bottles by hand: upcycling bottles
Glass artisan Juan Righetti from Empordà, Girona transforms reclaimed bottles from local bars and restaurants into transparent flower pots through an artisanal upcycling process.
