If you are looking for a Christmas gift for your team or your clients that people will use after the holidays, a small smart garden is worth a look. Why a garden works as a gift
A garden is a useful gift that keeps giving something back. It is not another mug or notebook, and it suits people who cook, people with children and people who simply like having something green on the table. LetPot gardens come with an EU plug adapter, and the Mini, Air and Senior also have sponges, baskets and nutrients in the box, so recipients across the EU only need seeds, water and a socket to get going.
There is some survey evidence that people like gifts like this. In a 2023 survey of 1,000 US employees by the gift company Custom Ink, 69% said they prefer sustainably made gifts and a tree-planting kit was the most chosen gift in the list. It is a vendor survey from the US, so take it as a hint rather than proof about your own team.
To be fair to the recipient, a smart garden is not instant. The light and pump are controlled with the LetPot app over 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, and herbs and lettuce take a few weeks from sowing to the first real harvest. Adding seed packets to the gift means people can sow on the day they unpack it.

Gift wrapping and card
We can wrap each gift and add a card insert with your message. Send us the text you want on the card and we include it in every parcel. If you want different messages for different recipients, mention it when you ask for a quote and we confirm what is possible. We do not offer logo printing or branded packaging, so the gift arrives in its own product box, wrapped, with your card.
Delivery to many addresses
For remote teams or client gifts, send us a recipient list as a spreadsheet with each person’s name, delivery address, phone number and e-mail for delivery notices. Each recipient gets their own parcel. We include the delivery cost for every parcel in the quote, so you see the full price before you confirm. If you prefer, we can also deliver everything to your office in one shipment and you hand the gifts out yourselves.
How ordering and invoicing work
- Send us a quote request with the gifts, quantities, delivery addresses or recipient list and your deadline.
- We send a written quote with every line, VAT, wrapping, cards, delivery and the delivery date we can confirm. The quote is valid for 30 days.
- You confirm the quote by e-mail.
- We pack, wrap and send the parcels from our stock in Tallinn.
- Verified companies pay by invoice, net 14 days. You can also pay by bank link or card.
Estonian companies pay 24% Estonian VAT. Companies in another EU country with a valid VAT number in VIES receive an invoice without Estonian VAT, because the goods are shipped from Estonia to another EU country as an intra-Community supply. If gifts go to private addresses in several countries, tell us in the request and we work out the VAT treatment in the quote. Our business page explains the VAT rules in more detail.
Order early
We cannot guarantee delivery dates for the Christmas season, and we would rather tell you that now than promise something we cannot control. What we can do is check your deadline before you order. Tell us the date the gifts need to arrive and we confirm in the quote whether we can make it. In-stock items leave our Tallinn stock within 1 working day, but carriers get busier in December, and the earlier we know your quantities, the more likely we can supply the exact models you want.
Gift tax notes
Gift tax rules differ by country and change from time to time. The notes below are a starting point, not tax advice, so check with your accountant before you decide.
- Estonia. There is no tax-free allowance for gifts to employees. A gift to an employee is a fringe benefit and the employer pays fringe benefit tax on it. Gifts to clients and partners are also taxed, except advertising gifts worth up to €21 excluding VAT. Our gardens cost more than that and carry no logo, so they would usually be taxed as gifts.
- Finland. Small non-cash Christmas gifts to employees, worth up to €100, are usually tax-free according to the Finnish Tax Administration’s guidance. Check the current guidance on vero.fi.
- Latvia. Employer gifts of up to €100 per employee per tax year are reported to be free of personal income tax. We have this from a secondary source, so confirm it with your accountant.
- Lithuania. We have not checked the Lithuanian rules. Please ask your accountant.

Which garden should we choose for a team?
For most teams the LetPot Mini at €59 or the starter bundle with seeds at €79.99 fit a typical gift budget, and the LetPot Senior at €129 suits key clients.
Can you deliver to each recipient’s home?
Yes. Send us a recipient list and each person gets their own parcel. The delivery cost per parcel is in the quote.
Which countries can you send gifts to?
We ship from Tallinn across the EU. Tell us the countries in your recipient list and we confirm delivery for each one in the quote.
Can you guarantee delivery before Christmas?
We cannot guarantee dates. Tell us your deadline and we confirm in the quote whether we can meet it.
Can you add our logo?
No. We do not offer logo printing or branded packaging. We can wrap the gifts and add a card with your message.
Can we include a personal message?
Yes. Send us the text for the card insert. If you need different messages for different recipients, ask us in the quote request.
Do you offer volume discounts?
We do not publish volume prices. For larger orders we prepare an individual written quote.
How do we pay?

Are the gifts tax-free?
It depends on the country. In Estonia there is no tax-free allowance for employee gifts. In Finland and Latvia small gifts up to €100 can be tax-free under conditions. Check with your accountant.
What does the recipient need to get started?
A socket, water, seeds and a phone with the LetPot app on 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. The Mini, Air and Senior come with sponges, baskets and nutrients in the box. If you add seed packets or choose the starter bundle, they can start the same day.
What if a gift arrives damaged or stops working?
The recipient, or you, can contact klienditugi@indoorgarden.ee. Every garden has the 2-year EU legal guarantee, handled by us in Tallinn, and we keep spare parts in stock.
Can the recipient exchange the gift?
