Which indoor plants can survive without sunlight? (edible plants)

Very few edible plants can survive without any light at all. Most edible indoor plants still need some form of light to grow, even if it does not come directly from the sun.

Some herbs and leafy greens, such as mint, parsley, and lettuce, can tolerate low natural light and survive in dim indoor spaces for a while. However, without enough light, growth becomes slow, plants grow weak, and harvests are limited.

In homes with little or no sunlight, grow lights or smart gardens make the biggest difference. These systems provide the light plants need for photosynthesis, allowing edible plants to grow reliably even in rooms without windows.

In real indoor use, plants do not truly grow “without sunlight,” but with artificial light, indoor growing becomes possible anywhere in the home.

Great little setup for veggies without all the hassle. You don’t have to be a gardener at all, the app makes it simple. If you’ve been thinking about starting but feel like you can’t, LePot makes it possible.
